Weill Cornell Medicine and Memorial Sloan Kettering work together to run ESP, a 10-week summer program designed to nurture growing engineering talent that invites undergraduate students interested in biomedical and engineering summer research. Students gain hands-on training under faculty supervision in labs at Weill Cornell Medicine or Memorial Sloan Kettering, in addition to professional development workshops and research seminars led by faculty.
The BioVenture eLab partners with ESP to provide a 4-hour medical device workshop led by our medical device Entrepreneur-in-Residence, which teaches the program participants about innovation in medicine and how to apply their research skills to entrepreneurship within the biomedical field.
