Capstone Programs and Business Plan Support

BioVenture eLab has developed partnerships with Cornell University’s Executive MBA program and Yeshiva University’s Master’s program in Biotechnology Management and Entrepreneuship. The students in these two programs are required to complete capstone projects. A capstone project is a unique opportunity to carry out independent group research in order to devise an innovative solution for a real-world problem. BioVenture eLab works with students to develop relevant projects that support Weill Cornell Medicine startups, such as conducting industry and market research, developing patient surveys, preparing competitive analyses, etc. Students gain valuable experience in business plan formation and Weill Cornell Medicine entrepreneurs gain further insights into their market opportunity and potential customers – a “win-win” for all.
