You are invited to join us for a virtual information session on the upcoming Biomedical Innovation Challenge, Weill Cornell Medicine’s venerable faculty-focused accelerator for translational innovation, which begins later this month.
During this session, BioVenture eLab Director Loren Busby will provide an overview of the program’s structure, expectations, and selection criteria, and will answer questions from prospective applicants.
The Biomedical Innovation Challenge is a selective, three-month, hands-on accelerator that supports faculty-led teams in developing rigorous development and commercialization strategies for their innovations. Participants work closely with seasoned industry mentors—serial entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate leaders—to refine their scientific, regulatory, and business plans and prepare for a pitch competition judged by venture capital and industry experts. The program is open to Weill Cornell Medicine scientists and clinician innovators.
