The “Lab to Impact IP and Commercialization Series” is an engagement program designed to empower all Cornell researchers with the knowledge and tools necessary to collaborate with the Center for Technology Licensing (CTL) in transforming Cornell innovations into impactful solutions. Organized into four topic-focused modules, each section provides targeted insights essential for navigating the commercialization process. By combining the latest trends, expert knowledge and successful case studies, this series aims to catalyze innovation and expand the reach of research through commercialization of innovations. This program is brought to you by the Innovation Team within Cornell Research and Innovation unit and is organized by the Center for Technology Licensing (CTL).
The Commercialization & Venture Module focuses on topics germane to budding and experienced entrepreneurs alike, such as challenges in early-stage venturing, resources available to the One Cornell community and best practices to support the formation, launch and growth of technology startups. Investment and market experts are invited to talk about best practices, and serial entrepreneurs to share their experience, successes or failures. The module runs annually covering foundational as well as emerging topics.
