Lab to Impact IP and Commercialization Series: Intellectual Property Module

The “Lab to Impact IP and Commercialization Series” is an engagement program designed to empower all Cornell researchers with the knowledge and tools necessary to collaborate with the Center for Technology Licensing (CTL) in transforming Cornell innovations into impactful solutions. Organized into four topic-focused modules, each section provides targeted insights essential for navigating the commercialization process. By combining the latest trends, expert knowledge and successful case studies, this series aims to catalyze innovation and expand the reach of research through commercialization of innovations. This program is brought to you by the Innovation Team within Cornell Research and Innovation unit and is organized by the Center for Technology Licensing (CTL).

The IP Module features guest speakers from the legal and business development fields. This module runs annually covering topics in intellectual property, including IP law, the technology transfer process, strategic development for specific innovative areas, updates on the latest changes in the IP landscape and impact on strategies for protecting Weill Cornell Medicine IP.
