You are invited to join a special fireside chat with Ruth Atherton, Ph.D. ’99, J.D., recipient of the Weill Cornell Graduate School Alumni Award of Distinction (2026).

Established in 1997, the WCGS Alumni Award of Distinction honors alumni who have made outstanding contributions in biomedical research and education across science, leadership, mentoring and service to society.

Dr. Atherton is a leader at the intersection of biomedical law, global health and industry. She has held senior roles at Genzyme, Sanofi, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, The Commons Project, Chronomics, and Genentech and has built a distinguished career in science-informed leadership and innovation. Join us for a conversation about her career journey, innovation, and advancing biomedicine.

The event will be held at BioVenture eLab, 1157 York Ave, between 62nd and 63rd Streets, with the option to attend via Zoom.
