You are invited to join us on Thursday, October 1, from 11:00am–12:00pm, when CDR Michael Banyas, USPHS, M.P.A., M.A., Health Specialist at the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD), will visit Weill Cornell Medicine’s campus. NIMHD has a special interest in women’s health and solutions to address health disparities.
The session will take place at BioVenture eLab, a part of Weill Cornell Medicine Enterprise Innovation, and will also be available via Zoom.
During the session, CDR Banyas will provide an overview of NIMHD programs and funding opportunities, including:
- New and current funding programs
- Reauthorization highlights
- Application tips and suggestions
- Commercialization resources for applicants and awardees
This will be a great opportunity for WCM faculty, researchers, and members of the broader NYC scientific community to learn more about NIMHD resources.
