Event Description:

Join us on January 22 for "Telling Your Scientific Story for Commercialization Impact," a new Lab to Impact workshop designed to help researchers and innovators at Cornell University communicate their innovations beyond the lab.

Dr. Julia Felice, a Cornell University alumna, scientist, communicator, and founder of Felice Information Design, will guide participants through how narrative can strengthen understanding, build trust, and accelerate the path from discovery to real-world impact.

In this session, attendees will learn how to adapt their scientific story for diverse audiences, develop a concise “hook” that conveys value to non-technical decision makers, and leave with a practical checklist to support future communication efforts. Participants will also have the opportunity to sign up for follow-up office hours with Dr. Felice for individualized feedback.

If you’re working on a technology with commercial potential, this workshop will help you bridge the communication chasm and position your innovation for stronger partnerships, funding, and traction.
