Katherine Hajjar, Professor Emerita of Pediatrics
Name: B6J.129X1-Anxa2tm1Kah/Mmmh
Strain: 069702-MU
Modification: Knock-out
Description: Annexin A2–null mice on the C57Bl/6 background were generated by targeted disruption of exons encoding the translation start site via homologous recombination in embryonic stem cells. Homozygous mice lack Annexin A2 protein expression, enabling investigation of its role in membrane dynamics, fibrinolysis, and cell signaling.
Applications: Mouse model to study the physiological and pathological functions of Annexin A2, including its roles in vascular biology, hemostasis, and cancer-related processes.
