The Manufacturing Hardware Accelerator is a cohort-based program led by Rev: Ithaca Startup Works that supports hardware startups that are ready to bring their prototypes into production. The program is funded by the U.S. Economic Development Administration and offered in partnership with Cornell Engineering.
Over the course of the hybrid 52-week program, entrepreneurs are provided with valuable entrepreneurial training and design for manufacturing programming, one-on-one mentorship, and networking opportunities—including introductions to manufacturers and investors. The cohort will meet virtually twice a month and in-person in Ithaca, NY approximately three times during the program for immersive experiences and manufacturing tours.

ELIGIBILITY: The Manufacturing Hardware Accelerator is designed for startups based anywhere in the U.S. that have already developed a fully functional prototype and identified a viable customer market. Hardware and physical product startups with innovations geared toward businesses or consumers that include electronics, plastics, enclosures, mechanisms, and or machines are encouraged to apply. The program is free, and participants do not give away any equity.
MedTech Track: Offered in partnership with Cornell Biomedical Engineering and Weill Cornell, the new MedTech track provides innovators developing medical devices access to specialized prototyping equipment, regulatory resources, and research and medical professionals in the field.
